Dynamos Players Go On Strike Over Outstanding Bonuses

Dynamos players are on strike and have refused to train once again as they demand outstanding bonuses owed by the club.

The team is reportedly owed bonuses for at least six matches during the 2025 season, while some players are still waiting to receive their signing-on fees.

The squad, which narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Sunday, refused to train on Tuesday morning ahead of the Chibuku Super Cup final against Triangle United at Gibbo Stadium this weekend.

Dynamos will be aiming for a record third Chibuku Super Cup title when they face Triangle United on 29 November at Gibbo Stadium in the southeast Lowveld.

However, the task will not be easy, as the club has not won a league match against Triangle at Gibbo since 2016.

Despite this, Dynamos have been dominant in the competition over the past two years, winning consecutive finals against Ngezi Platinum Stars at Baobab and Rufaro Stadium.

Triangle United last lifted the Chibuku Super Cup in 2018. In the tournament’s history, only Dynamos, Harare City, and FC Platinum have won the trophy twice.
