ZANU PF Mashonaland West youth chairperson, Tapiwa Masenda, has donated 150 pairs of new school shoes to underprivileged learners at three schools in Hurungwe East Constituency.

Many of the beneficiaries have been walking long distances to school barefoot, some for their entire school lives. The donation comes as a major relief, especially during the cold winter season.

Masenda, who partnered with Tinoda Trust, led by Fagio Zvondai Marowa, said the gesture was part of a broader effort to uplift disadvantaged learners. He said:

I urge leaders and well-wishers to join our “Donate a Shoe” campaign, extending support to more remote schools across all constituencies. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Masenda also paid school fees for 10 vulnerable pupils at each of the following schools: Madzimoyo, Wino, and Kangurunguru Primary Schools.
