Student activist Allan Moyo who has been in pretrial detention since 7 December is seen at a terminus in Harare staging a one-man protest and telling people the government has failed the masses. Moyo’s activism and telling crowds that President Mnangagwa has failed got him arrested and he is still in custody 51 Days after his arrest.
Yesterday Justice Chitapi dismissed his bail application case and he will be in detention till his trial. Moyo is a student leader under the Zimbabwe National Students Union (ZINASU) is a student at the University of Zimbabwe.
A fellow student has started a free Allan Moyo petition at Change Organisation while #FreeAllanMoyo is gaining momentum on Twitter.

We are going to unleash terror in Harare if Alan Moyo is not to be released in this coming week, for we have been quite for so long whilst the system is destroying our generation , the fact that they are trying to set a bad example to the students by using the leader of the union illegal detention will not go unnoticed .
