Zanu PF’s Tafadzwa Mugwadi Apologies For Uttering Rude Remarks On Al Jazeera

Zanu PF Director for Information and Publicity Tafadzwa Mugwadi yesterday apologised for the shameful words he said on Al Jazeera a day before yesterday when he was part of the panel discussing the Zimbabwean crisis, New Zimbabwe reports.

Mugwadi who blatantly insulted Al Jazeera’s Femi Oke and hurled insults directed at the panel said he felt pressured as he felt he was surrounded by 3 MDC Activists who according to him were ganging up against him.

Addressing a press conference at his party’s headquarters after yesterday’s politburo meeting, Mugwadi said:

I ended up throwing harsh remarks to an international journalist from Aljazeera. My unreserved apologies. I must say I had been encircled by three activists from the MDC Alliance and I felt that it wasn’t balanced, we will look forward to working with them.
