Chiwenga Wants A Part Of The Properties Bought By Marry In South Africa – Report

The Vice President, CG Cgiwenga has reportedly shown interest in the properties his wife Marry Chiwenga nee Mubaiwa bought in South Africa, Newsday reports. This was revealed in court today when by her lawyer during cross-examination, according to the publication.

Mubaiwa’s lawyer Taona Nyamakura of Mtetwa and Nyambirai Legal Practitioners hinted the VP was also fighting for part of the properties Marry reportedly bought in South Africa when Nyamakura asked:

If the Vice-President is claiming (in the divorce case), would it be okay to say he is claiming proceeds of the crime?”

Mubaiwa/Chiwenga reportedly bought 2 Range Rovers and a house in Pretoria using the funds she allegedly externalised and these properties are said to be part of their divorce case.

  1. How about #2 demanding for the money to be brought back to zim where it was illegally exported and surrender it to the state as proceeds of crime like a true patriotic anticorruption VP would? Why go after proceeds of crime? Kudziya moto wembavha?
