3 Ex-ZANU PF Heavyweights Make It Into MDC National Executive

Three former ZANU PF heavyweights have been appointed into the national executive of the opposition MDC.

The trio, former Ministers of State for Masvingo Province, Kudakwashe Bhasikiti and Dzikamai Mavhaire and former Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Tracy Mutinhiri, have been incorporated into the opposition party’s highest-ranking administrative organ.

The development was revealed that was shared by MDC spokesperson, Daniel Molokele.

The trio was fired from the ruling ZANU PF in 2011 (Mutinhiri) and 2014 (Bhasikiti and Mavhaire), in that order, for allegedly engaging in activities that are not in line with Zanu PF and for belonging to Joyce Mujuru’s camp.

They joined the MDC after their newly formed party upon leaving ZANU PF suffered a stillbirth.

Chamisa in defence of his decision to incorporate former sworn party enemies said that he had no luxury to choose supporters.
