FC Platinum appoint Onismor Bhasera as assistant coach

FC Platinum have appointed former Zimbabwe international Onismor Bhasera as assistant coach.

Bhasera joins Pure Platinum Play with a wealth of experience from a distinguished playing and coaching career.

FC Platinum General Manager Collen Nikisi said Bhasera has served on the technical teams of South African Premiership sides Siwelele FC and SuperSport United, after a playing career that saw him represent clubs in Zimbabwe, South Africa and England, as well as the Zimbabwe national team.

“His experience, leadership and understanding of the game will add valuable depth to our technical team as we continue to strengthen the club and build for the future,” Nikisi said.

Bhasera will be part of a technical team led by Head Coach Thabo Senong, which will focus on developing players, strengthening the squad and ensuring FC Platinum remain competitive at the highest level.

He succeeds Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane, who has left the club to take up a head coaching role in Botswana.

“We thank Yeye for his contribution, professionalism and commitment during his time with FC Platinum and wish him every success in his new role,” said Nikisi.
