Newly appointed Warriors head coach Ramon Catala has named his first provisional squad for Zimbabwe’s opening two matches of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Catala, who was unveiled earlier this year, announced a 34-member provisional squad on Saturday, 5 September 2026, for Matchdays 1 and 2 against Sierra Leone and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
It is a squad that shows clear intent – a mix of seasoned internationals, Premier Soccer League regulars and emerging foreign-based talent, with the final squad expected to be trimmed in the coming days.
