The abandoned Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match between Hardrock and Dynamos will be replayed on Thursday, 9 July 2026, at Baobab Stadium.

The Matchday 14 fixture at Chahwanda Stadium was abandoned on Sunday, 24 May 2026, in the 78th minute. Play was stopped due to crowd violence and disturbances that made it unsafe for players, officials and fans to continue.

Following the incident, the PSL Disciplinary Committee ruled that the remaining minutes be played behind closed doors at a neutral venue, in line with PSL protocols.

PSL chief executive officer Rodwell Thabe has advised both clubs that the match will resume from the exact minute it was interrupted. The original score, player cautions and all disciplinary records will stand.

The resumption must feature the same players, match officials and technical staff listed on the original team sheet, including the same available substitutes. Teams may only use the number of substitutions that were left at the time of abandonment.

Any players who were sent off during the initial match cannot be replaced, and the line-up must remain as it was when play was stopped.

Thabe also said all matchday expenses for the fixture will be shared equally between the two clubs.
