The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has pledged to launch an investigation into a video circulating on social media, which appears to show a scuffle involving Hardrock marshals and supporters during Sunday’s match against Ngezi Platinum Stars.
In a statement issued on Monday, 20 April 2026, PSL Communications and Media Liaison Officer Kudzai Bare said the league had requested a comprehensive report from Hardrock to establish the full facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
The statement reads: “The Premier Soccer League has noted with concern a video circulating on social media allegedly involving Hardrock FC marshals and supporters during the match against Ngezi Platinum Stars played on Sunday 19 April 2026.
“The League takes such matters seriously and has since requested a detailed report from Hardrock FC to establish the full facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
“The PSL wishes to reiterate its commitment to ensuring that all football matches are conducted in a safe and secure environment for players, officials, fans and all stakeholders.
