Munetsi Omitted Again, As Marinica Names Warriors Squad For March Friendlies

Warriors head coach Marian Marinica has left in-form midfielder Marshall Munetsi out of the squad for Zimbabwe’s upcoming international friendlies during the March 2026 FIFA window, which runs from 23 to 31 March.

The Four Nations International Tournament, bringing together Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia, will be held at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana.

Munetsi has been enjoying a rich vein of form at Paris FC in Ligue 1, scoring three goals in as many consecutive matches.

He last played for the Zimbabwe national team late last year but missed the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Despite his current form, Munetsi has once again been overlooked for national duty, with Marinica opting for other midfield options.
