Agama Football Club has become the first team from Mount Darwin to secure promotion to the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) after being crowned ZIFA Northern Region Division One champions.

The historic achievement was sealed on Sunday, 9 November, when Agama thrashed FC Oden 4-0, overtaking long-time leaders N’ombeyawora, who suffered a 1-0 defeat to MWOS U-19 on the final day.

Under the guidance of Coach Paul Chimalizeni, Agama completed an impressive unbeaten run of 24 matches, bringing top-flight football to Mount Darwin for the first time in the club’s history.

All four regional Division One champions for the 2025 season have now been confirmed.

Hunters FC secured their maiden promotion after winning the Eastern Region Soccer League, while Hard Rock FC achieved the same feat in the Central Region.

In the Southern Region, Bulawayo Chiefs earned promotion following their championship triumph, becoming the only returning side among the four promoted teams.
