From 7 to 9 November, all DStv customers with an active decoder subscription will enjoy full Premium access as the pay-TV provider celebrates its 30th anniversary.
For this one-off weekend, from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 November, all active DStv satellite subscribers will have unrestricted access to every Premium channel, offering three days of uninterrupted entertainment.
Byron du Plessis, CEO of SA Pay-TV at MultiChoice, a CANAL+ company, said:
“DStv has grown up alongside its viewers… For three decades, we have been part of South Africans’ homes, their weekends, and their memories.
“Open Time is part of our broader strategy to reignite the DStv brand and make world-class entertainment more accessible.
“From the start of November, we will be reducing our HD Decoder pricing by 30% in retail channels and over 40% through our newly launched DStv store to make joining and reconnecting with DStv easier and more affordable than ever.”
The Open Time weekend offers a jam-packed sports lineup on SuperSport, featuring the Springboks vs France match on Saturday, as well as Manchester City vs Liverpool and the F1 Brazil Grand Prix on Sunday.
Open Time runs from 00:01 on Friday, 7 November, to 23:59 on Sunday, 9 November 2025, for all active DStv decoder customers.
