A fatal road traffic accident occurred on Monday around 4:30 AM along Lomagundi Road, between Harare Drive and the Westgate roundabout, claiming two lives on the spot and leaving 13 others injured.

According to eyewitnesses who spoke to ZBC News, a Toyota Dyna truck transporting agricultural produce crashed into the rear of a Mazda B22 truck carrying passengers into the city.

The impact caused the Mazda to veer off the road and hit a tree. The injured were rushed to Parirenyatwa Hospital for treatment.
