The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) have confirmed the arrest of a 32-year-old man in connection with a suspected murder case in Nyanga, while another suspect remains at large following a similar incident in Muzarabani.
Police said Shingirai Ngwena (32) was arrested on Tuesday, July 23, by police in Nyanga after he allegedly killed his girlfriend, Enet Chirozva (27), at Bondana Village. The murder reportedly stemmed from a domestic dispute involving accusations of infidelity.
Meanwhile, police are appealing to the public for information that could lead to the arrest of Jealous Chikwerekwere (37), who is being sought in connection with the murder of his wife, Polite Melisa Mabhifi (31).
Chikwerekwere allegedly struck Mabhifi with a log at their home in Kademo Village, Muzarabani, also on July 23, following a heated argument over suspected infidelity.
