Foreign Clubs Eye Daniel Msendami, Agent Says

Zimbabwean international Daniel Msendami is attracting growing interest from clubs abroad, according to his agent, Tshepo More.

More revealed that he has fielded enquiries from teams in the South African Premiership, North Africa, and beyond, all keen on securing the services of the Marumo Gallants winger.

The former Jwaneng Galaxy star made the switch from Botswana’s Premiership to Marumo Gallants in 2024, but More said that even during his time in Botswana, several top clubs had expressed interest in signing the talented wide man. He said:

I always say this to Daniel: what we call an offer is something that is on paper. Once it is in black and white, then we call it an offer. 

But if you just receive calls saying we want this player, that’s not an offer. So, have I received calls? Yes, I have received calls from abroad, clubs in the PSL, and North Africa.

I think we are going through a phase similar to what we experienced last season when he was still at Jwaneng Galaxy. 

You know, we had a lot of offers, and some of them may have been from big clubs. So, people questioned why we chose Marumo Gallants.

We went for Marumo Gallants at that time so that Daniel could showcase his talent. We appreciate that the club is giving him that platform, and we also thank the chairman [Abram Sello] for believing in Daniel.

Msendami has made a strong impression since joining Marumo Gallants in July 2024 from Botswana Premier League outfit Jwaneng Galaxy on a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old Warriors attacker has featured in 31 matches across all competitions this season, contributing three goals and three assists for Bahlabane ba Ntwa.

Msendami’s most notable performance came in a recent Betway Premiership clash against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium.

The winger was instrumental in Gallants’ 2-1 comeback victory, delivering a lively display that earned him the Man of the Match award.

He tormented the Chiefs’ backline throughout the encounter and capped off his performance with the decisive goal.
