Ovidy Karuru Set To Join Yadah | Report
Former Warriors vice captain Ovidy Karuru is reportedly set to join Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side Yadah Stars, reported NewsDay.
Karuru, who has played in Belgium, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia, is currently clubless.
Yadah Stars recently signed CAF Champions League winner Khama Billiat as the club’s owner Walter Magaya targets big-name players to improve the profile of the local premiership and attract more spectators to stadiums.
Billiat joined the Miracle Boys in a one-year US$50 000 deal that also has other lucrative benefits, including a luxury vehicle.
Speaking after Billiat was unveiled at Yadah’s home, Heart Stadium on Thursday, Magaya said:
