Beer Will Always Be There After You Die, Macheso Calls For Moderation During Festive Season

Musician Alick Macheso has urged people to act responsibly during the festive period and avoid the over-consumption of alcohol which may result in the unnecessary loss of life.

The 55-year-old humanitarian ambassador was quoted by H-Metro as saying imbibers should remember that beer will be there long after they are dead. He said:

Firstly, I would like to warn people that December comes every year and we don’t need to lose lives.

People should know their limits and stop behaving like beer is a new thing.

Beer will always be there and what is important for drinkers is to be responsible and save lives.

Peer pressure should be avoided at all costs to ensure that we won’t regret our actions.
