A 43-year-old man has been arrested for stealing a truck from a car park in Bulawayo yesterday.
A police statement seen by Pindula News says he stole the vehicle from 6th Avenue and was arrested after parking it at 12th Avenue. Reads the statement:
On 23/08/22, ZRP Bulawayo Central swiftly reacted to a report of theft of a white Mercedes Benz Atego, a 7-tonne truck and arrested Russel Zwane (43) in connection with the case.
The suspect had stolen the vehicle at a car park along 6th Avenue between Josiah Tongogara Street and Robert Mugabe Way, Bulawayo. He was arrested by the Police along 12th Avenue where he had parked the vehicle.
