Man Kills Brother In Dispute Over A Hen

A man from Jotsholo, Matebeleland Province, is up for murder after striking his brother with a wheelbarrow frame on the head following a dispute over a hen. 

According to a police statement seen by Pindula News, the suspect, Mhlambuli Ndlovu (24) struck his brother Kelvin Ndlovu (40) who then fell into a toilet pit. Reads the police statement:

ZRP Jotsholo is investigating a case of murder which occurred on 11/07/22 at Tshongogwe Village. The suspect, Mhlambululi Ndlovu (24) struck his brother Kelvin Ndlovu (40) with a wheelbarrow frame twice on the head after an argument over a hen.

The victim fell in a 2-metre deep toilet pit and was taken to a local hospital where he died upon admission.

In another case of murder, Ntuweleni Mbedzi (70) died on the 11th of July 2022 after she was hit by a log several times all over her body by her mentally challenged daughter, Polite Mbedzi (51) on the 10th of July 2022 at Sikweni Village in Beitbridge.

In a related case, ZRP Fort Rixon is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Oscar Patal (30) in connection with a case of murder which occurred at a bar in Shangani on the 11th if July 2022.

The suspect allegedly fatally stabbed the victim, Themba Nkomazana (28) several times with an okapi knife on the head, neck and chest. The victim had attempted to strike the suspect with a machete. Anyone with information to contact any nearest Police Station.

Police in Kadoma reacted to a tip-off and arrested a bus driver, Wonder Ndlovu (38) as well as three bus conductors, Janet Dhimigu (42), Passwel Gidza (24) and Brighton Mangwiro (29) for illegal possession of a 50 kg bag of dried dagga at the 5 km peg along Kadoma-Patchway Road. The interception happened on the 12th of July 2022 at around 0030 hours.
