When I was young in Form 1 and I was 13 years, I would visit my cousin who stayed at a flat in town after school. You would find him with this girl today and another tomorrow. 

There was this day though I visited and he had two girls both Form 4 they learnt at a certain High School in town in Bulawayo. They were 16 years old. To cut the long story short. I found everyone at the kitchen, greeted them, when my cousin began to kiss a girl and speak about having **** with them I became uncomfortable and said my farewell then.  When I was going to the door this other girl stood right at the door held the door handle standing in a certain way she wanted me to join them but I wanted to run away so I just looked down and still stood at the door. My cousin then told the girl to let me go.

So this law will speak of protecting these girls, when they are the ones seducing boys to sleep with them? Someone who is really a child does not go to visit her boyfriend to have **** with him after school, that's no longer a child. 

Again we see these girls going to Vista at night the number increase when schools close because the borders would be there also. The law must not fight boys, instead these youngsters must be taught about STDs and STIs, unwanted teenage pregnancies, and not just talk there must be videos too showing devastating effects of these STIs. Maybe then they would listen. They do watch ****ography some of them so they must be shown also what happens when they get sick.

I now have a 14 year old daughter and there is this one time I took her phone, and viewed the video history on her browser I saw she was watching ****. I asked her why she does that, and asked her where she got the website address she told me other girls showed her at school. I always preach to her, advise her she must concentrate on her school work and not boys, I tell her that there are STIs and STDs and the symptoms, I tell her that she must first get married and first before anything go for blood tests. I know as a father this law about ****ual consent will not  will not protect our girls from engaging in ****ual intercourse at all, knowledge will. She would tell me her friends at school have boyfriends, I tell her no boyfriends for you concentrate on school work not on these boys who cannot even buy themselves an underwear. I advice her that a real lady is able to buy herself clothes, do her hair without relying from a man, and one good example is her mother I tell her when I met your mother she was an independent woman, renting paying rent herself, working, able to buy clothes herself, and I also bought her clothes as present and I assisted her and there but she could do it herself, and we got married did blood tests etc. I teach her. 

These boys too also must be taught. The law these youngsters will not listen to it. Instill knowledge, independent man, independent woman, respect etc.

The Constitutional Court (ConCourt) has struck down provisions of the law that held that the age of sexual consent is 16.
According to Harare lawyer Tendai Biti, who argued the matter, the ConCourt held that the age of sexual consent is 18. Tendai Biti Law <a href="https://twitter.com/BitiLawChambers/status/1529103154469605376">said</a>:

The constitutional court has just handed down a judgment in a case argued by our principal [Tendai Biti] holding that the age of sexual consent is 18, not 16.
Provisions of the law that held that the age of consent is 16 have been struck down.
