Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 24 April 2022:
- 30 New Cases (All local) and 0 Deaths were reported today. (7-day rolling average for new cases rises to 39 from 38 (yesterday).
- Vaccination Update: 1 997 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 5 824 344, 3 159 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 635 269 while 1 913 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 580 135.
- As of 23 April 2022, @1500hrs there were (8) hospitalized cases: New Admissions (5), Asymptomatic (0), mild to moderate (7), severe (1) and (0) in Intensive Care Units. 3 of the 8 hospitalized were vaccinated and 5 were not vaccinated.
- 1 043 tests done today (Positivity today was 3.0%)
- 64 new recoveries: National Recovery Rate falls to 97% & Active cases fall to 661.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 247 554 Cases 241 426 recoveries & 5 468 Deaths.
