Here is South Africa’s Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update issued by the Department of Health (NDoH) RSA on Sunday 20 February 2022:

On Sunday, the NDoH reported 50 deaths bringing the total fatalities to 98 667 to date.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases identified in South Africa was 3 658 547 with 1 456 new cases reported.

The cumulative number of recoveries now stands at 3 5522 732 with a recovery rate of 96.3%.

The cumulative number of vaccinations administered: 30 964 954.
