Cloudy conditions which were experienced across the country yesterday resulted in widespread thunderstorms with localized downpours (in excess of 30mm) at Chinhoyi (60mm). Mutoko (56mm), Victoria Falls (41mm) and Mukandi (34mm). Meanwhile, the Tropical Cyclone Batsirai which is over southern areas of Madagascar is strengthening the south-easterly airflow into the country.
FORECAST FOR TOMORROW, SUNDAY 06 FEBRUARY 2022;
It is expected to be mostly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon thunderstorms in Matabeleland North. northern areas of Midlands, all Mashonaland Provinces, Harare Metropolitan. and northern parts of Manicaland. It should be cloudy. mild and windy with a patchy drizzle in the morning. becoming less cloudy and warm in Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan. southern areas of Midlands, Masvingo and southern parts of Manicaland Provinces.
