Dynamos Confirm Yvonne Mangunda's Departure
Dynamos Football Club have confirmed the departure of Marketing and Communications Manager Yvonne Mangunda with effect from this month.
Earlier on Wednesday, Mangunda announced that she had resigned from the Glamour Boys to pursue other interests.
In a statement later on Wednesday, Dynamos expressed gratitude to the former StarFM sportscaster for the “ethics, professionalism and culture change that she brought to” Chazunguza. DeMbare said:
We wish to announce the departure of Yvonne Mangunda from Dynamos FC with effect from September 2021.
Yvonne Mangunda who was employed as the Club’s Marketing and Communications Manager has left the club to pursue other interests Dynamos FC are indebted to Mangunda for the excellent work ethics, professionalism and culture change that she brought to the Club.

The the “First Lady of Sport” announced her departure from StarFM on 1 November 2020 after 8 years at the radio station. She joined Dynamos on 4 November that same year. Mangunda said then:
As my chapter with Star FM concludes, a new season has begun. I am now the Marketing and Communications Manager for the biggest club in Zimbabwe, Dynamos. It’s a privilege to have been headhunted by the most supported team, with the most titles in Zimbabwe.
