Zimbabwe Weather Report And Forecast – 03 May To 05 May 2021

Light drizzle covered parts of Matabeleland South, into Masvingo and Manicaland, with the clouds over these areas persisting into today, Monday 03 May.

Matabeleland North, northern parts of the Midlands, Harare Metropolitan and all Mashonaland Provinces were mostly sunny and warm but begun getting cooler towards evening.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW TUESDAY 04 MAY 2021

Brief cloudy periods are expected along the Zambezi Valley into Mashonaland West and Central Provinces.

The rest of the country (Harare Metropolitan, Mashonaland East, Manicaland, Masvingo, Midlands, Bulawayo Metropolitan, Matabeleland North and South Provinces) should be under mostly clear skies; cool at first becoming warm by afternoon.

• Temperature fluctuations between night and day may affect the health of vulnerable members of society such as young children, the elderly and ill persons.
• Cold weather conditions negatively impact poultry animals;
• Soil moisture was slightly increased due to almost countrywide light showers
• Please ensure that vulnerable members of society are kept warm during these wintry nights.
• Poultry producers should note that broilers are sensitive to temperature variations and therefore need to be checked regularly and adjustment made.

• While soil moisture has slightly reduced the occurrence of frost; farmers in frost-prone areas are encouraged to have frost preventative measure in place.

Mostly sunny and warm conditions are expected over the country by the day, becoming cool towards evening with a chance of slight frost in frost-prone areas such as Matopos, Gweru and Chivhu.
