Mwonzora Wary On Zanu PF's Attempts To Capture Opposition Votes

MDC-T President Douglas Mwonzora warned party members to be wary of ZANU PF and other elements attempting to capture the opposition vote for their selfish interests.

Mwonzora made the remarks while addressing the party’s National Standing Committee late on Wednesday at Morgan Tsvangirai House, formerly Harvest House.

In a statement this Thursday, MDC-T national spokesperson Witness Dube said the National Standing Committee also deliberated on the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines across the country and the Mozambique security situation. Dube said:

The party reiterated its call for transparency on the distribution of Covid 19 vaccines across the country, and for the nation to maintain a high alert on the pandemic to mitigate against the impact of a possible future wave of infections.

The Mozambique security situation was considered, and the party calls on the Government of Zimbabwe to keep the nation updated with regards to the security status of Zimbabweans in the Cabo Delgado region, as well as its possible impact on our domestic security.
