WATCH: Analysts Say Mozambique Conflict A Fight For Resources

Zimbabwe Mozambique Friendship Association Chairperson, Devnanda Popatla and Principal of Chitepo School of Ideology, Munyaradzi Machacha say the current conflict in Mozambique is a result of a fight for resources. The Islamist insurgency emerged in 2017 in the Cabo Delgado province in the northern part of Mozambique near a multibillion oil project. Watch the video below for more.
