Billiat Fit And Ready To Play Some Games, Says Agent

Warriors and Kaizer Chiefs talisman Khama Billiat has fully recovered from a leg injury that kept him sidelined for several weeks.

Billiat (30) missed the Warriors’ final two 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Botswana and Zambia because of the injury.

His manager Godfrey Bakasa confirmed to H-Metro Sport that the player was now ready to play. He said:

He is fit and ready to have some games. Of course, the issue of when to play lies with the technical team, but what I can confirm is his fitness and readiness to play and also in relation to the poster with his name.

Billiat has been out of action since January this year after sustaining an injury during Amakhosi’s 2-0 defeat to Maritzburg United.

His return from a long injury lay-off comes just before the Amakhosi face Horoya in a do-or-die CAF Champions League encounter this Saturday.

Kaizer Chiefs need an outright win against the Guineans to proceed to the semi-finals of the competition.
