Continued questions about selective application of law and proportionality as Hon Mamombe @JoanaMamombe& @ceechimbiri2 will once again have to spend time in prison at least until #IWD2021 I hope they stay safe @euinzim

Mamombe and Chimbiri were arrested at Harare Central Police as they were reporting at the police station as part of their bail conditions when they were detained for allegedly addressing a press conference during a national lockdown.  The magistrate reserved ruling in their bail application today and said it will be handed down on Monday.

Meanwhile, armed men reportedly broke into Thabitha Khumalo’s house in Bulawayo and assaulted her before seizing her electronic gadgets. She was hospitalized after the assault according to CITE.org.
