Warriors Coach Zdravko Logarušić Back In Zimbabwe
Warriors coach Zdravko Logarušić arrived back in Zimbabwe on Wednesday from Croatia in preparation for the team’s two crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers at the end of this month.
Zimbabwe play away to Botswana on the 25th of this month for the penultimate Group H qualifier before playing the final qualifier at home to Zambia on the 29th.
Logarušić did not return to Harare following Zimbabwe’s elimination from the African Nations Championships tournament in Cameroon in January.
He chose to fly straight to Europe from Cameroon and has been in Croatia since then.
Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) spokesperson Xolisani Gwesela confirmed that Logarušić was back in the country and they were working on securing a work permit for him. Said Gwesela:
