Zimbabwe Wins 7 Medals At The Para-Athletics Grand Prix 2021 In Dubai

Zimbabwe has so far won 7 medals at the just-ended World Para-Athletics Grand Prix 2021 in Dubai. This was revealed by the Ministry of Infomation permanent secretary Nick Mangwana who said the team scooped 1 silver medal and 6 bronze medals at the games:

Zimbabwe won another bronze medal to make it 7 medals at the World Para-Athletics Grand Prix 2021 in Dubai. The 7 medals are 1 silver medal and 6 bronze. 3 athletes also qualified for the Tokyo games .The team arrives back home this afternoon.

The athletes left for Dubai on 4 February and they came back home today. Meanwhile, reports on the ground are saying the Tokyo Olympics are still scheduled to go ahead in July despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
