MDC-A’s Joana Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri Granted Bail

MDC Alliance’s Joana Mamombe and Cecilia Chimbiri were granted a $10k bail each when they appeared before Justice Webster Chinamora this Tuesday.

The duo was arrested last week after they allegedly staged a flash protest and insulted police officers in Harare.

Justice Webster Chinamora ordered the release of MDC Alliance duo Joana Mamombe and Cecilia Chimbiri after hearing arguments by lawyers and the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).

The Judge set aside refusal of bail by magistrate Stanford Mambanje.
