ZBC Hikes TV And Radio License Fees

Zimbabwe Broadcasting Services has hiked TV and Radio licenses. According to ZimPrice Check here are the new license fees for radios and TVs in Zimbabwe.

• Car Radio License – $600 per quarter, $1800 per year
• Hone radio license rural $75 per quarter, $225 per year
• Home Radio license urban $ $300 per quarter, $900 per year
• Home TV license $700 per quarter, $2100 per year
• Business radio license $ 700 per quarter, $2100 per year
• Company Car radio $800 per quarter, $2400 per year
• Company TV license $1125 per quarter, $4500 per year.

everyone who owns a TV and or a radio is expected to have a license. However, inspectors from the national broadcaster are not doing inspections due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Some users claim the content on ZBC TV is not interesting and they will not pay for a license because of that.
