WATCH: South Africa Deports Undocumented Zimbabweans

Hundreds of undocumented Zimbabwean immigrants are being intercepted every day along the border between Zimbabwe and South Africa.

In the video below, a number of undocumented Zimbabwean immigrants are being loaded into an immigration vehicle in South Africa after being caught crossing the Beitbridge border illegally.

Many are failing to acquire the travelling documents in time as the Registrar General’s office has a backlog which goes back to 2018.

Coronavirus certificates are also not easy to get.

Unfortunately, staying is not an option considering the biting economy. Approximately 3 million Zimbabweans live and work in South Africa.
