A Zimbabwean golfer, young Keegan Shutt was yesterday crowned South African Nomads Under-15 tournament champion at Selbourne Golf Course, ZBC News reports.
14-year-old Shutt according to the publication shrugged off intense competition from over 60 other golfers, scoring 221 with 5 over par. Speaking after the crowning ceremony young Shutt said:
It feels great to be the winner credit goes to my parents and my coach they’ve been so supportive of me. From here and with this win I hope to one day become a pro-golfer. It is important for me to test myself against older and more experienced players and to push myself and put myself under pressure.
