Zimbabwe Records 34 New Coronavirus Deaths In 24Hrs

Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care has reported that the Southern African country recorded 34 new coronavirus related deaths on the fifth of January.

The new deaths push the country’s death toll to 418 when reports suggest that a recent surge in coronavirus cases is pushing health institutions to the brink.

Below are the total number of deaths recorded in each of the 10 provinces in the past twenty-four hours.

1. Harare – 10
2. Bulawayo – 7
3. Manicaland – 8
4. Mashonaland Central – 2
5. Mashonaland East – 1
6. Mashonaland West – 3
7. Midlands – 1
8. Masvingo – 2
9. Matebeleland North – 0
10. Matebeleland South – 0
