Arsenal Outclass Chelsea In The London Derby

Arsenal unexpectedly outclassed Premier League rivals, Chelsea, in a Premier League match played on Saturday at Emirates stadium.

The Gunners had had a spate of disappointing results in the Premier League lately prompting fans to call for the dismissal of the manager, Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal went into the match as underdogs but 34 minutes into the first half, Arteta’ men were leading after the French international, Alexandre Lacazette, scored from the penalty spot.

Granit Xhaka doubled the lead 10 minutes later when he scored a freekick to give the Gunners a modicum of confidence on winning the match.
Immediately after the break, Arsenal’s 19-year-old Bukayo Saka scored a fluke from the edge of the box to make it three for the Gunners.
Chelsea pulled one back when Tammy Abraham tapped Callum Hudson Odoi’s cross into the net in the 85th minute.
Frank Lampard’s men wasted a chance to reduce the margin to one goal when Jorginho missed a penalty in the 90+1 minute.
The Gunners amassed all the march needed and deserved three points.
Meanwhile, Chelsea missed an opportunity to move to the second position. They are now on 6xth position, while Aston Villa has moved into the fifth on goal advantage.
