Marshall Munetsi Ruled Out Of Warriors/Algeria Matches

In-form France-based Warriors midfielder Marshall Munetsi has been ruled out of the back to back Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Algeria.

The Stade de Reims man, who has been impressive for his side in the French Ligue 1, will not be travelling to Zimbabwe for the two games as they (Reims) reportedly cited a knock he picked up in the 4-4 stalemate against Lens over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Tino Kadewere and Marvelous Nakamba arrived in the country early this morning and will head straight into camp.

Zimbabwe will go into the biggest battle of their 2022 Africa Cup Nations Group H qualifying campaign when they visit African champions Algeria.

After the first leg in Algiers on November 12, the Warriors will host the Desert Foxes at the National Sports Stadium four days later.
