According to the publication, these are the categories the Zimbabweans have been nominated for:
- Ammara Brown, Shasha, Gemma Griffiths and Shashl have been nominated in the Best Female Southern Africa category,
- while Jah Prayzah has been nominated in the best male Southern Africa category.
- BET Award winner has been nominated in the Best Newcomer category.
