Komichi Confident Of MDC-T Victory In Upcoming By-elections
MDC-T acting chairperson Morgen Komichi has said his party will triumph over the MDC Alliance in the upcoming December Council by-elections.
Komichi made the remarks during an interview with Open Council on Tuesday following the recall of MDC Alliance councillors including Marondera, Beitbridge and Gwanda Mayors by the Thokozani Khupe-led party.
The Harare Senator said MDC-T party structures were already on the ground leading the door to door campaign ahead of the by-elections.
The recall of MDC Alliance councillors in Harare and Beitbridge may result in Central Government stepping in and appointing commissions to run the councils.
Khupe has already recalled over 20 Parliamentarians and more than 30 councillors across the country for choosing to remain loyal to MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa.
