We Have Managed To Repossess Most Of Our Offices, We Are Now Carrying Out An Audit Of The Party Assets - Komichi

Court resurrected MDC T 2014 structures Vice-Chairman Morgen Komichi has said the MDC T has taken over the MDC Alliance offices in most parts of the country and they are busy auditing the assets they repossessed and they will take appropriate action when the time is right, The Herald reports.

Speaking to the state media, Komichi said they were now in the process of repossessing offices in some parts of Mashonaland and Manicaland:

We managed to repossess most of our offices. We started with the occupation of the party headquarters Morgan Richard Tsvangirai House, which is the flagship of the party.

After the headquarters we went on to occupy Bulawayo, Masvingo, Hwange, in Matabeleland North, Gwanda in Matabeleland South, Marondera, Mashonaland East, Gweru in Midlands province offices.

We are now in the process of occupying Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland West and Manicaland provinces. So far, we have managed to secure some of our vehicles, but I do not have the numbers off-head

Komichi also said they are auditing the party’s assets and appropriate action will be taken in due course should the audit uncover any anomalies:

We are currently carrying out an audit of party assets such as vehicles, furniture, books of accounts and party offices in all the provinces and appropriate action will be taken at the appropriate time. The legitimate leadership of the MDC party has finally occupied their offices.

Apart from repossessing offices the MDC T has been recalling MDC Alliance legislators and has recalled 21 legislators so far.
