Restaurant Collapse In China Leaves 29 Dead and 7 Seriously Injured
A restaurant in Linfen, north China’s Shanxi Province, collapsed and left at least 29 people dead and 7 others seriously injured yesterday, CGTN reports.
The 2 story building reportedly collapsed at 9.40 AM yesterday and 57 people were pulled out of the debris by rescuers in an operation that ended at 3.45 AM Beijing Time on Sunday Morning.
The Chinese government is investigating the collapse of the restastant. Accoding to Al Jazeera witnesses who saw the collapse said the collapse occured after an explosion.
