South Africa based Zimbabwean footballer Gabriel Nyoni has called on other footballers to find and to not be ashamed of having a side hustle, Sunday News reports.
Nyoni took to social media to warn other players that football might not take care of them for good, Nyoni said:
As a Zim footballer whether playing in Zim or anywhere in the world, don’t be ashamed to do side hustles. Money from football will never sustain you for the rest of your life. Ego from false fame will never feed your family. Kana dziri shangu tengesa. Nxa kuyizimpahla thengisa futhi.
The former highlanders player who is said to be exiting his South African club Maritzburg United at the end of the Absa Premiership season, is a graduate of National Univesity of Science and technology and is reportedly a writer and a motivational speaker.
