ZIMRA Surpass 2020 Q2 Revenue Target By $6 Billion
ZIMRA has announced that it surpassed its revenue collection target set by the government for the second quarter of 2020 by close to $6 Billion, The Chronicle reports.
This was contained in the performance report for the period ended 30 June 2020. According to ZIMRA vice board chair Mrs Josephine Matambo:
Net revenue collections for the second quarter of 2020 amounted to $20,11 billion against a target of $14,09 billion.
FeedbackThis has raised questions with the public as some are questioned if ZIMRA surprised the target for real or inflation helped the taxman to surpass the target that was set before the inflation.
