City Of Harare To Hike Rentals Effective July 1

Harare City Council is set to hike rentals for businesses renting its buildings effective 1 July 2020.

In a statement, Harare Town Clerk Hosiah Chisango said the move has been taken in response to the hyperinflationary environment currently obtaining in the country. The statement read:

The City Of Harare wishes to advise all its valued tenants who are occupying Municipal owned and lease land as well as built-up premises that it is in the process of reviewing rentals effective from 1st of July 2020.

This is in response to the serious hyperinflationary environment currently obtaining in the country.

Our clients should be prepared for upward reviews to keep in tandem with inflation.
