Drunk Vic Falls Woman Stubs Boyfriend To Death

In an unfortunate incident in Victoria Falls, a drunk woman Sithandazile Sibanda (31) of Mkosana suburb stubbed her live-in boyfriend 24-year-old Vain Mohammed, New Zimbabwe reports. According to sources that spoke to the publication, Sibanda came home drunk on Sunday night and picked a fight with the deceased which led to the stabbing incident that ended Vain’s life.

The incident was confirmed by Matabeleland North police spokesperson Chief Inspector Siphiwe Makonese who said:

We received a report of a woman who allegedly stabbed her husband at a house where they were renting on Sunday night. The woman is in police custody and will appear in court for murder,

The owner of the house where the incident occurred narrated the incident and said:

He spent the whole day at home while Sibanda had gone to drink with friends. She returned at night and that’s when a quarrel started with Sibanda accusing Mohamed of not opening the door for her

The two wrestled for the iron bar and he managed to disarm her. She then picked a knife and stabbed him on the back causing his instant death as he bled from the mouth and nose.

Mohamed was pronounced dead at the scene by an ambulance crew before his body was taken to Vic Falls mortuary and Sibanda was arrested.
