WATCH: "What Happened On August 1 2018 Will Never Happen Again," ZANU PF Tell Chamisa

The ruling ZANU PF has accused the leader of the opposition MDC Alliance, Nelson Chamisa of organising the “#ZANUPFMustGo” and “#31July” protests slated for the 31st of this month.

The protests were called by the leader of opposition Transform Zimbabwe, Jacob Ngarivhume to mark the second anniversary of the 2018 disputed presidential election which opposition parties was stolen by ZANU PF in connivance with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).

ZANU PF’s acting secretary for information, Patrick Chinamasa said the protests which happened on August 1, 2018, and 14 January 2019 will never be repeated in Zimbabwe.

On the two dates above, in that order, MDC Alliance members and the citizenry thronged to the streets to protest against the election results and the deteriorating state of affairs.

The demos degenerated into chaos resulting in the government unleashing police and soldiers who killed and injured many demonstrators.
