197 Staff Members At Mpilo Hospital Still In Self-isolation

197 staff members at Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo who were put on self-isolation nearly a month ago are still not at work.

The staff members were isolated after a nurse at the institution tested positive to COVID-19 last month.

The development was confirmed by Mpilo Central Hospital acting clinical director Xolani Ndlovu on Tuesday.

The results of the 197 staffers are still to be released due to a shortage of tests kits, officials have said. Said Ndlovu:

The staff members, who were sent on self-isolation, are not yet back at work. We have not yet received their results. The provincial health department is the one dealing with issues of COVID-19 and on issues of COVID-19 talk to them.
