The family of Paul Munakopa has reportedly written to the police asking for an independent inquiry into the shooting that eventually lead to Paul’s death. This was revealed on twitter by CITE in a tweet that reads:

The Munakopa family via their Lawyer Nqobani Sithole have written to the police asking for an independent inquiry into the death of Paul including independent ballistic experts. CID Homicide said the matter has been referred to Police headquarters #JusticeForPaul #Asakhe

Many people including Zenzele Ndebele, Fadzayi Mahere, Kelvin Mazhandu and Douglas Coltart have questioned the police’s silence on the issue as the police have remained tight-lipped on the issue, not offering any details or explanation about the incident that robbed Paul of his life.
